Lokta Heart card

This valentine card design features a heart made from Nepalese lokta string dyed with walnut on Dupion silk dyed with weld and woad on a border of paper dyed with woad. The background is handmade paper made with madder roots.

These handmade greeting cards are 6" by 4" (15 by 10 cm) in size and bear a unique design feature on the cover. The design is approximately 2.5” to 3” wide and combines a square or rectangle of handmade paper with silk and silk thread dyed with natural dyes, plus other design features. All the cards are unique and the design may vary slightly from the photographs. The product photos show either the whole card or the design feature.

The inside of the greeting card is left blank for your own message. The cards are cream-coloured, 100% recycled paper and each card is accompanied by a white envelope and enclosed in a cellophane wrapper.
